Assessments
Integrative Therapeutic Approach
If you’re starting to suspect you may be ADHD or Autistic, you might be noticing patterns that suddenly make your life make sense. Maybe you’re pretty sure you're neurodivergent—but still want clarity. Or you may need a formal diagnosis for practical reasons like school accommodations, workplace supports, disability benefits, or tax documentation.
An assessment can provide that clarity. It offers a deeper understanding of how your brain works—your strengths, challenges, and what supports will actually help.
I offer ADHD and Autism assessments in partnership with Heidi Keefe and the team at Constellation Mental Health. We use an integrative approach that combines the scientific rigour and diagnostic clarity of gold-standard assessment with a collaborative, relational approach that values your lived experience. Instead of relying only on checklists, we explore your story, strengths, and neurodivergent traits in context.
For more information about the differences between traditional and integrative assessments, see the FAQs.
Assessments are available for clients in Alberta, Ontario, and Newfoundland.

Integrative Therapeutic Approach
Step 1: Collaborative Intake & Goal Setting
1 hour | Virtual or In-Person
You will meet with your clinician (and supervising psychologist, when applicable) to explore
-
Your current concerns
-
What you are hoping to understand
-
Whether you need formal documentation (school, work, tax credit, etc.)
-
What testing approach best fits your situation
This step determines which tools will be used and whether additional screening is needed.
